As a passionate equine photographer based in Red Deer, Alberta, I recently had the pleasure of driving out to Sylvan Lake for an unforgettable photo session with Hailey and her beautiful barrel horses, Halo and Ivy. The stunning fall evening in September provided the perfect backdrop for this equine photography session.
A Serendipitous Connection in the Horse World
During our shoot, Hailey and I got to chatting and discovered just how small the horse world can be. It turns out that her bay mare, Halo, had just returned home from my aunt’s renowned stallion station, one of the largest in Canada. I loved discovering this unexpected connection added a special touch to our evening together.
