From Church Service: To Cherished Memories
A Michener Park Maternity Session
Join me while I shoot a Maternity Session at Michener Park. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Joanna for several years. Our paths crossed through a shared calling at church. This is where we both dedicated our time to serving the children in our ward ever sunday. It was a rewarding experience, and I witnessed first hand Joanna’s incredible talent and warmth as she engaged with the kids. Her natural affinity for the children made it clear that she would be an exceptional mother.
When Joanna and Ren announced their pregnany, it was a moment of joy and anticipation. Given our history and the special connetion we share, I was thrilled when Joanna took me up on my offer to capture this significant chapter of their lives. Through their very own maternity session at Michener Park.
The weather in february can be unforgiving, with its biting cold and unpredictable conditions. Despite the chilly temperatures, the importance of capturing Joanna’s pregnancy while her baby bump was still prominent cound not be overstated. As you know babies wait for no one! We needed to document this fleeting period of anticipation and growth before this little one arrived.
The cold weather, and the icy parking lot as well as the over cast sky added a few layers of challanges to our day. But it also made the warmth of the session’s memories all the more precious.
It was an honor to document these precious memories for Joanna and Ren. As they prepare to welcome their litte one. Seeing Joanna’s nurturing side come to life through the lens reminded me once again of her incredible capacity for love and care. These images will serve not just as a record of this special time, but as a testament to the journey they are embarking on together.
I look forward to seeing their family grow and to continuing to share in their joyus milestones.
