Bower Ponds Winter Session – I’ve had the joy of knowing the Monteleone family for several years, watching them and their children grow and thrive. When they reached out to update their family photos, I was thrilled. Capturing those fleeting moments of childhood and adolescence is somthing that should happen every few years. Knowing this family, I knew this session would be special.

After discussing their vision in the summer, they expressed a desire for a winter wonderland backdrop for their newly updated photos . So, we waited for that perfect snow! Once it finally fell, we selected a date, time and location.

On a chilly winter day, we ventured out to Bower Ponds. And lucky for me I was accompanied by my husband, who also knows the Monteleone family well. His ability to keep everyone smiling and laughing behind the scenes made a world of difference. Plus, he was a pro a juggling coats between takes, ensuring everyone stayed warm and comfortable.

We explored two beautiful spots at Bower Ponds: first the picturesque trails blanketed in fresh snow, then a charming bridge that is always a crowd pleaser. The bridge provided the perfect backdrop for the remainder of the sesssions portraits. The scenery at Bower Ponds never disapoints and was truely beautiful. But what made the session truly magical was the genuine smiles, laughter and connection shared among this special family.

Shooting friends alway feels like a fun get-together, and this session was no exception. The Monteleone family’s warmth and connection made capturing these moments a delight. I am thrilled with the images we where able to capture together, not only do the portraits show case the beauty of winter but also the love and joy that define this family. Here’s to many more memories aand moments captured in the years to come.
