Embracing Family and Nature in a Chilly Setting
Tianna reached out to me for a maternity session in Innisfail. Marking a special milestone as they await their very first baby. These two already have a cherished fur baby, and anyone whos knows me understands how much I adore having pets join in on these sessions. After all animals are such an intergral part of our the familes. And Including them in these memories makes the experience all the more meaningful.
Innisfail Maternity Session
For this winter maternity session in Innisfail, we ventured out to a secluded spot near the river. A place that this couple holds dear from their camping trips. Consequently this location was perfect: with the flowing river, shelves of ice, and the surrounding forest provided the perfect backdrop for this icy session.
With the chilly weather in mind I made sure to bundle up in my heated jacket and socks. Despite the frigid weather Tianna was such a trooper! Further more the resilience she showed was evident with the that smile she wore, as seen on her face the entire time as we navigated through various poses and locations along the riverbed. With her sweet partner Mack, helping her every step of the way.
With us for the entierty of the shoot was Mack and Tianna’s beloved pup who followed us along enthusiastically and participated hapily. Not only was she an abolute delight she was also sweet, well-behaved, and enthusiastic about fetching sticks from the freezing river, she will make the best older sister.
It was clear to me that this couple were eager to make the most of this precious time together. Getting profesional portraits taken is such a special occasion, one to be remembered and enjoyed, as it is a rare opprotunity to capture meaningful moments it ones busy life.
Tianna and Mack’s openess to sharing and exploring their favorite campsite with me, made this session feel more like a gathering of a group old friends. Even though we had just met that same day. Now that made this session all the more special.
Of course this session was a complete joy for me to capture. Moreover I truley enjoyed the opprotunity to create beautiful portraits as it allowed me to capture the essence of this pregnancy perfectly. It is my hope that they will serve as life long lasting memories for this growing family.
