Capturing Family Moments: The McLean Family Portraits
Blackfalds Family Photo Session: I was absolutely thrilled when Corinne reached out to me for updated family portraits this year. To say I was excited would be an understatement! I have known Corinne and her family for years through our church organization, which adds a special layer to this experience.
A Special Connection
First, I met Corinne’s daughter in the young adult program. Later, I had the privilege of serving alongside Corinne in the children’s primary program. Consequently, this connection made the opportunity to capture their family photos even more meaningful.
A Beautiful Location
Corinne had one special request: she wanted their family photos taken near a body of water. Naturally, I was eager to fulfill this wish! In fact, I had a perfect location in mind: Burbank Campground. I had wanted to try it out for ages, and I couldn’t wait to see how it would work for their Blackfalds family photo session.
Exploring Burbank Campground
Burbank Campground is just a short drive from Red Deer, nestled outside Blackfalds. The scenery truly captivates. Specifically, the campground is surrounded by tall trees and features beautiful cliffs where the Red Deer River meets the Blind Man River. As a result, it offers one location with several stunning backdrops, making it ideal for family portraits.
The Photoshoot Day
On the day of the shoot, I met up with the McLean family on a gorgeous evening. The atmosphere felt vibrant, and it truly resembled one big party! We caught up on life, shared stories, and enjoyed endless laughter. Notably, the boys kept everyone entertained with their hilarious antics.
Capturing Joyful Moments
As we moved around the campground, I focused on capturing the joy and connection within the family. Moreover, the beautiful surroundings complemented their radiant smiles perfectly. Each click of the camera froze a moment in time, preserving their unique bond.
